Affordable Housing
Affordable Housing
Affordable housing is a top priority in Bremerton and throughout Kitsap County. Instead of just talking about it, Bremerton is doing something about it.
Denise Frey is a champion of public private partnerships, such as the Mills Crossing Project in District 2. She voted along with the rest of the City Council to award $500,000 to the project earlier this year. Mills Crossing will provide permanent supportive housing for up to 35 families and was made possible through the strong relationships within the Kitsap County Affordable Housing Task Force, including Kitsap Community Resources and Bremerton Housing Authority.
Mills Crossing is a brand new 35-unit development, featuring 2+ bedrooms, 2 baths and secure garage in every unit. Located on a transit corridor, it's only a block away from the East Bremerton Transit Center.
Other Kitsap Affordable Housing Task Force projects are being developed throughout Kitsap County.
